How We Price Our Container Rentals
As would any other service, or you should, it’s a good idea to find out how a business determines its rental fees. Easy Dumpster Rental willingly provides this information to the public for 2 reasons. One, to help build trust and confidence and two, you have the right to know what you are paying for and getting in return. So, we have below outlined the 4 major components of our pricing model. We hope that this transparency will put your mind at ease when you rent your next bin unit from us.
The four major factors are as follows:
A) Landfill Cost
Every time we take your debris to a landfill we are charged a tipping fee for dumping your waste. This expense for disposing of waste typically varies between each city, county, and state. Hence, the cost of dumping waste in Anna Maria may be higher or lower than that of Sarasota. Obviously, this tipping fee will be added to your rental cost. The landfill sets the rate, not us. And it is usually posted on the landfills website and the fee is per ton. We will never, ever, charge extra or add on to your costs for tipping fees. However, we will if you go over the allocated weight or haul hazardous waste. The EPA strictly forbids dumpster companies from hauling such dangerous waste. And you will be fined if caught doing so.
B) Debris Type
The type of materials that you intend to dispose of can impact the rental cost of your rolloff. Waste disposal companies are mandated to send debris collected to specific locations and some debris can be disposed of at your local recycling facilities at a lower price.Costs for dumping debris are usually lower for materials that can be recycled as opposed to hazardous and non-recyclable materials.
C) Debris Weight
The volume of the waste material that you are disposing of will affect the size of the rental dumpster as well as the dumpster size used by haulers. Typically, there are five common dumpster sizes: 10-yard, 15-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, 40- cubic yards. There are in-between sizes but they are always not available in every city. Check with your sales rep they will know if your city has these sizes. A great rule of thumb, the greater the size of the bin unit, the higher the starting cost. Please don’t make the mistake of ordering a larger rolloff to get peace of mind so you don’t have to pay for an extra haul. This is a waste of your money. We know what we are doing and you will get the exact size rolloff for the job at hand.
D) Rental Period
Canister bins of all sizes typically come with 7 or 14-day container rental periods. With that said, if you need more time, of course, you will be able to keep your front load unit as long as you need it. But give us heads up so you don’t get late fees added to your bill. We are trying to save you money and keep you as a customer for life.
