Environment and Islamorada Background
Islamorada is a village in Monroe County in Florida. Islamorada has a pristine location on five islands in the Florida Keys that include Tea Table Key, Lower Matecumbe Key, Upper Matecumbe Key, Windley Key and Plantation Key. Spanish explorers originally named the village Islamorada to mean “Island Purple.” The Village was initiated in 1907 by William Krome who platted the area that became Islamorada and the Islamorada Post Office was founded in 1908. Following a vote by residents, the area of Islamorada was incorporated in 1998.

Where should I Put My Roll-off Dumpster Container?
When you are ready to rent a dumpster from Easy Dumpster Rental, it is best to select your location in advance. You will want the dumpster to be somewhere easy for you to get to save time transferring waste. A roofing project, for example, may want to be able to drop shingles into the dumpster. But it must also be advantageous to put the container in an area that does not need to be free for any part of the projects. Here are the three options to consider:
- The most common place that people put their dumpsters is on their driveway because the surface is hard and will not damage grass. However, some containers may damage your driveway because of their weight, especially the larger units that can hold up to four or five tons of waste. For this reason is often advisable to place plywood underneath the wheels of the dumpster.
- Placing your dumpster on your lawn is also an option. But be sure there are no obstructing wires above the area or obstacles that could hinder the dumpster delivery machine. Additionally, plywood is again advised to protect the ground beneath the container.
- A final location for a roll-off dumpster is the street. This can be highly desirable to clear the work area, but may require a permit or may even be prohibited by the local government. Be sure to check with you local municipal government on the rules before placing a dumpster on the street.
