Winter Springs is located in Seminole County. The history of the City of Winter Springs parallels Florida’s history of Spanish rule from 1513 to 1773, after which it became a British colony from until 1783, when it to Spanish control, and then eventually came under the control of the United States in 1821. - Fruitwood Park is located on Fruitwood Avenue and has a small park with swings.
