Some Tips To Help You Get Your Site Prepared For Delivery of Your Bin
After you have made the decision to lease one of our rolloffs, you now must decide where to place it on your property. Though because of limitations on your property and where the job is you may have very few choices. Typically there are 3 places to place the canister:
- The Front or Backyard
- The Driveway
- In The Street
Our sales reps are specialists and will offer up to your suggestions on the most optimal placement should be. Obviously, this will depend on what your project is going to be. For example, If you are putting on a new roof, you want to get as close to the roof as possible. But if your yard is full of trees or overhead lines that option may not be possible
So then we would consider putting the dumpster in the driveway. And for some reason the driveway isn’t going to work out we will then consider the street. In some respects, the street is the best and easiest option. If we all agree that the street is the way to go you first must check with city hall to see if you need a permit.
If your front or backyard can work as a potential site we will recommend that you go to your local lumber yard and buy some plywood or planks to place under the wheels. Don’t worry the hauler will help you with this step. This will greatly minimize any risk of damage to your property. Matter of fact, if you follow this suggestion you should not experience any harm to your property. Containers are heavy and the weight will only increase as you put in your waste.
Ditto for the driveway. We want to make sure that your driveway is protected. So do the same and go out to your lumber yard and buy the plywood for added protection.
