Can You Give Me Some Suggestions On Where To Place My Bin?
Typically, when it comes to rolloff placement at a home you have 3 options. However, a lot of times it will depend on the nature of the job. For example, if you are planning on doing a roofing project it’s more practical and a lot easier to place the canister as close to the roof line as possible.
But there may be obstacles that prevent this from happening. Other considerations include the shape of your lot, tall trees, power lines stretching across your property, fences to name a few. Our Account Managers will assist you in making this decision. They have plenty of experience and will be more than happy to help you.
The 3 options you have for site placement include:
- The front or backyard
- The driveway
- The street
Yard: If you opt on the yard option we will recommend to go to your local lumber store and purchase some plywood or planks. These materials will be placed under the wheels of the rolloff to help support the weight of the bin. This will ensure that your property is as beautiful as it was before the container was placed on it. The hauler will help you with the placement of this support.
Driveway: Your driveway is a great location. It makes it easier to place and simpler to move debris back and forth. We would again encourage you to go to your local lumber store for the same reasons given above.
Street: The street is the perfect place to put the open top rollaway. You don’t have to fret about property damage (You will not have any damage, period) and it is easy to place to get to. However, not all cities will let you put a rolloff in the street. So make sure you contact your local officials to see if you need a permit.
When you speak to your account manager it is important that you give them a detailed description of your property so the placement goes as smooth as possible.
Also, if all possible, we would like you to be there on the day of delivery. This is to make sure that you are thoroughly happy with where we are putting your dumpster. If you can’t be there perhaps a family member or a friend could be on site that day. We want you to be thrilled with our service and this is one way that you will be happy.
