Refuse is picked up weekly along with a recycling bin. The containers must be in the street, on the apron of your driveway or on the tree lawn. All bins must be placed outside before 6:30 am on the day of pickup. If you miss the collection day you can drop off recyclables at the Berea Road facility.
Bulk Items
Bulk stuff will be picked up on your regularly scheduled pick up day. Bulk items include furniture, chairs, tables, and dressers. For a complete list follow this link to the city’s website. Large appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and furnaces can be arranged to be picked up by calling the Division of Refuse and Recycling. All recyclables must not be mixed with refuse. If it is the city will impose a fine.

Branches and shrubs must be no longer than 4 feet and secured with rope or twine. Large branches must be cut into 2 by 6 inches. No bundle can weigh over 50 pounds. Xmas trees will be picked up by the Streets andForestryy Division along with fall leaf collection.
