• If all possible use warm water instead of hot when washing clothes.

Yard Waste Pickup In Willowick

The city of Willowick does provide yard waste pick up services through April to the end of November. Yard waste must be in special cans that are clearly marked as yard waste. The city prohibits the use of plastic bags for your yard waste. All branches and shrubs need to be bundled and cannot be more than four feet in length. Also, the yard waste cans can be no heavier than fifty pounds.

The city also offers a very limited time frame to pick up leaves. This will take place between the beginning of November to the middle of December. Please be careful to rake your leaves to the tree lawn and not into the street. Storm sewers can be clogged as a result. The leaves should be placed into kraft bags and will be collected on your regular trash pick up day.
