Waste disposal resources in Logan

If you have a great deal of green waste, you may want to consider self-hauling this material. Some of our clients bring their own green waste to a facility because they do not want to waste space in their dumpster bins. In other cases, clients are using a single-use dumpster bin. Single-use bins only use one type of waste, such as construction and demolition debris, and save you money because there are no sorting fees. But you may find that you generate other forms of waste that you want to process.

Whatever the reason, it is good to know that Logan City operates a green waste facility at the Logan Landfill at 200 North 1400 West.  The Logan Landfill offers a landfill and transfer station that can accept many types of waste, including green waste. The facility accepts grass, leaves, garden waste, clean hay, clean straw, shrubs, sod, branches, and non-invasive weeds. The site will not accept morning glory, dyers woad, plastic bags (please do not bag your green waste), pet waste, dirt, rocks and gravel, tree toot balls, toys, garden hoses, candy wrappers, and limbs over six feet in length or twelve inches in diameter.
