The Laurel Department of Public Works does not provide households with hazardous waste collection services. In addition to this, residents are also not allowed to dispose of household hazardous waste at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill – where regular solid waste is processed.
Instead, if residents of Laurel and the rest of Prince George’s County need to dispose of household hazardous waste, then they need to do so at the Prince George’s County Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site.

- Is there a possibility my property will be damaged by a container?
Yes, this possibility does exist. To help minimize any damage, Easy Dumpster Rental recommends going to your local lumber yard and purchasing some planks or plywood to support the weight of the container. The wood will be placed under the wheels and this will help ensure that you have a great-looking yard when the dumpster is removed. We have never had any issues with the damaged property if you follow this simple tip. Please be advised that we cannot be held liable for any damage done to your driveway or yard.
- What payment options do you accept?
We have many payment options available. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express. Also, PayPal is an acceptable method of payment. Currently, we are not accepting Bitcoin. Also, we do not accept checks and money orders at this time.
- How do I arrange a drop-off and a pickup?
The simplest thing you will do in your lifetime. Just give us a call. Keep in mind, we need 48 hours’ notice to do a drop-off. However, if you need a front-load unit sooner we do offer same-day service. But please call our office first thing in the morning. We will do everything we can to accommodate an earlier time frame. For pickups, please give us 24-hour notice. Again, contact us as soon as you can. You have 2 options, you can call the office or go online to request a pickup. Either way, we will be there on time.
- Are there prohibitions on what I can put in a front-load bin unit?
Yes. The EPA will not allow us to haul hazardous waste. They have special trucks that do this dirty work. If you are not sure if an item you have is hazardous or not please call your local city officials or give our front office a ring.
