The town of Richmond takes its recycling responsibility very seriously. Every home is given one recycling bin. There are length restrictions, however. No limb should be longer than 4 feet and 4 inches in diameter.
Stumps will also be picked up but please ensure that they are no longer than two feet and less than 6 inches in diameter. The contractor will dispose of white goods but residents are limited to 4 items per month. Wet paint cannot be handled by the recycling company but dry paint is permissible.
