Moline and the Quad Cities

Self-hauling to a Landfill

Excess Yard Waste

If you have excess yard waste, the city will collect landscaping debris from April 2 to mid-December. Lawn waste should be placed in bags with stickers identifying them as yard waste and not exceed thirty gallons in volume each. If you have limbs, remember that the must conform to the 4’ x 4” regulation (for feet long and four inches in diameter or less). Although the City can take additional waste, it will cost one hundred dollars to participate in the program. Also, the City of Moline has a leave vacuuming service that runs from the end of October to the first week of December and will hoover-up leaves from the streets.
