Some Common Question About The Dumpster Rental Process

To help save you some time and to help you get a better understanding of how Easy Dumpster Rental runs its business model, we have provided below some of the most often asked questions our sales team receives. If you don’t see a question that you would like answered you can either go to our FAQ page or call our office. Our friendly sales reps will be more than happen to help you get some answers or some clarification.

  • You use a lot of different terminologies to describe the types of dumpsters you rent. Could please clear this up?
All the nomenclature used to describe a dumpster means the same thing. We use descriptors such as roll off, container, bin, canister, and front load dumpster. They all are interchangeable and every industry has its buzz words that are unique to that particular sector. All rolloff companies pretty much use the same words and offer the same basic sizes. Easy Dumpster Rental is no exception. We have container rentals in 4 sizes, 10, 20, 30, and 40 cubic yards.
  • Can I put a container in the street? Putting a bin in the street is a wonderful place because it completely eliminates any potential damage to your lawn or driveway. Though it should be stated here we have steps you can take to minimize any damage to your property and with that said, we have never damaged anyone’s property. As far as street placement goes, you must first check with your local officials and to see if you need any permits.
  • Do you offer same-day service? Yes, we do. But please try to call the office first thing in the morning so we can make the proper arrangements. Typically, we would like 48 hours heads up, but we realize emergency situations do arise and we will get the bin out to you ASAP.
  • What form of payment does Easy Dumpster Rental accept? We accept most credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, and PayPal.
  • How long can I keep a container? Usually, rental periods run 7 or 14 days. But we understand that sometimes projects go longer than expected. So we have plenty of flexibility. Just ensure that you call our office before the bin rental period is up so we can work out a longer rental period and so you can avoid late fees.
  • Do you recommend that I be home on the delivery day? Yes. It is a good idea to have someone there so we place the canister exactly where you would like on your site. Sometimes problems come up such as you forgot to mention that you have low-hanging power lines or something of that nature, this ensures we can find a suitable spot to put your dumpster.

We would like to remind you that it is against EPA regulations for dumpster companies such as ours to haul hazardous waste. So please ensure that you don’t put these materials into your rolloff. There are huge fines levied by the EPA and you do not want to end up paying these penalties. If you are not sure if you have any hazardous waste call your local government officials and they will let you know. Or speak to one of our sales reps. For your convenience, we have listed a few common household hazardous wastes Batteries, Propane tanks, Tires, Oil filters, Electronic waste such as computers and printers.
