The village of Chardon does not offer curbside recycling services. Recyclables can be dropped off all week during daylight hours only. There are 2 different colored bins where you can drop off cardboard and paper in one container and non-paper items in the other.

Brush collection is held throughout the year, primarily between the months of April and September. Refer to the link below to get more information about this and other services. City officials ask residents to set all debris as close to driveway apron or street as possible. Ensure the length of your branches does not exceed 5 feet and the diameter of your debris is no larger than five inches.
Do not tie the brush because a chipper will be becoming by to dispose of the waste. Bear in mind that grass, leaves, vines will not be picked up. Likewise for lumber or hardwood.
