Benbrook is just outside Fort Worth and was founded in 1857 and has a population of 21,000 residents. The top employers are Walmart, Weatherford International, LTD Oil and Gas, and Western Hills High School. Every October the city has the Heritage Fest “Cowboy Roundup” and an annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Fireworks display. Right after this event is month long Winter Wonderland Festival. There is also an Easter Egg Hunt held every year. Benbrook Lake provides residents with water and other recreational activities such as boating, fishing, hunting, and hiking. We can greatly reduce these numbers by recycling. Would you rather have a park than an eyesore of a landfill? I believe most people would answer YES.
