Some Of The Most Often Asked Questions Concerning Our Company
Anyone new to the process of renting a container are going to have questions about how the process works. So to save you some time, we have complied a list of our most frequently asked questions for your convenience and edification.
- How long can I rent a container?
Typically dumpsters are rented for either 7 to 14 days. However, we know that things don’t always go as planned. So if you need more time, of course we will extend the rental period. But please call us if you see that your are going to need more time so we can work out a new rental agreement, otherwise you will incur extra charges if you do not give us a heads up. We want to work with you and to have a great experience.
- Do I need to pre-order a container?
We would like at least 48 hours notice to help us get our logistics together, especially during busy times like the summer. With that said, we also realize that you may need service faster than that, so we do offer same day service. But please try to call us first thing in the morning.
- What kind of payment do you accept?
MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express and PayPal are all acceptable forms of payment.
- Is there any possibility that a canister will harm my lawn or driveway?
Yes, there is a chance. But if you do the following the likelihood of this happening is minimal at best. Go to your local lumber yard and purchase some plywood or planks to place under the wheels of the container. This is an ideal way to protect your property. But the best position for your dumpster is to place it in the street. First check with your local government authorities to see if this is permissible and ask if you need any permits. It shouldn’t be an issue.
- Do I need to be present when the rolloff is delivered?
It would be advisable to be there on the day of delivery. Especially when it comes to site placement. If you can’t be there perhaps a neighbor could be there for you. Otherwise give your sales agent explicit instructions on where you would like the bin-dumpster placed. This usually isn’t an issue.
- Are there any prohibitions on what I can or cannot put in the canister?
Yes. We are not allowed to accept hazardous waste per EPA regulations. Some examples of hazardous waste include:
- Paints and solvents
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Plant insecticides
For a complete guide to what constitutes a hazardous waste please refer to this EPA web site.
